LAWN FERTILIZATION AND WEED CONTROL PROGRAM
The bedrock of Towne Pest Control's superior lawn care is our Five-Application Lawn Care Program. This annual program has been developed over the years and provides the best treatment to enhance our clients' lawns. Each step is an important part of your overall lawn care and promises to give you a lush, thick lawn throughout the year.
Consistency is key with this program, and each step is designed to deliver the right application at the right time during each season. Our trained and licensed technicians apply treatment using only the best quality products available.
STEP ONE - Early Spring Application
This fertilizing treatment is applied in the early spring to replenish nutrients that were lost over the winter. This step also includes a crabgrass and broadleaf control pre-emergent mixture to help control spring weeds and keep them from germinating.
STEP TWO - Late Spring/Early Summer Application
This step ensures that weeds stay away so grass can fill in any voids as well as thicken up the existing carpet. We use a broadleaf premium herbicide to control dandelions and other summer weeds. It is during this application that an insecticide can be added to protect your grass from insects such as grubs, chinch bugs and sod webworms. The insecticide treatment will also cut down on emerging Japanese beetles that can destroy your roses and other bushes.
STEP THREE - Summer Application
A light mixture of non-burning fertilizer and broadleaf weed control herbicide keeps your lawn healthy and weed free during the hot months while not stressing your lawn.
STEP FOUR - Late Summer/Early Fall Application
A broadleaf weed control herbicide keeps weeds out of the lawn and doesn't stress the existing grass in these late hot days of summer.
STEP FIVE - EARLY WINTER
A dormant winter fertilizer protects your lawn from the winter cold and prepares grass for the spring application. Your lawn will be the greenest in the neighborhood before anyone else!
